Saturday, 16.09, 11h – 13h, Palatul Ștefania, Timișoara
The Interdimensional Ship Workshop is, on one hand, inspired by the geometry of Plato’s solids, Archimedes, and Johnson, and on the other hand, by the aesthetics and construction logic with metallic elements found in Meccano, Erector, or Merkur-type games.
The interdimensionality of the ships is revealed as we navigate between the abstract dimension of a mind articulated by crystallized geometry and the material dimension of objects and their manufacturing process with a touch of neo-industrialism.
