The Interdimensional Ship Workshop is, on one hand, inspired by the geometry of Plato’s solids, Archimedes, and Johnson, and on the other hand, by the aesthetics and construction logic with metallic elements found in Meccano, Erector, or Merkur-type games.

The interdimensionality of the ships is revealed as we navigate between the abstract dimension of a mind articulated by crystallized geometry and the material dimension of objects and their manufacturing process with a touch of neo-industrialism.

Rareș Moldovan was born in Arad in the year 1980, the city where he grew up and graduated from an Arts High School. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in sculpture from the Faculty of Arts in Timișoara in 2004. Since then and up to the present day, he has been involved as an artist and organizer in several exhibitions and events related to the art world.

This workshop is aimed at children (age 8-14). Spots available: 15 max.

Participation is free but requires registration.
