Saturday, October 18, Indecis artist run
What would it be like to meet photography in its most tactile form?
On Saturday, 18 October, we continue the events around the exhibition Terenuri fragile with an analog photography workshop led by Marius Parghel – photographer, silver gelatin print enthusiast and explorer of alternative photographic processes, with over 20 years of experience and an artistic path that has taken him through Skopje, Vienna and Timișoara.
For two hours, we’ll move our attention from the exhibition space into the darkroom: we’ll talk about the history of film photography, light-sensitive materials, and the steps through which an image comes to life – from negative to print, via a fully manual, chemical process.
In the hands-on part of the workshop, you’ll produce a print on photographic paper using a negative from Marius’s archive, and you’ll go home with your own manually developed image.
The workshop takes place between 15:00–17:00, at Indecis artist-run (Bastion 3, str. Hector 1).
We have 12 places available. Participation is free of charge, based on registration. The link to the registration form is available here.
This workshop is part of the public mediation programme of the exhibition Terenuri fragile, featuring works by Csilla Bartus, Tudor Borduz, Ingrid Ene, Andrei Mateescu and Mihai Șovăială. Coordinator: Florin Fâra.

The exhibition is part of the project Composting past futures – frameworks for artist-run practices, funded by the City of Timișoara through the Centre for Projects and co-funded by Indecis artist-run.
Events at Bastion 3 are organised in partnership with the City of Timișoara, through the Centre for Projects.
